Snow, Snow, Snow

We've already had our first snowfall of the year and there was frost on the ground/windshield this morning. Snow only lasted an hour or so but it was white. A sign of things to come - lol - when the Subarus shine.

^^ don't wait for a offer.

Email several dealers your buy it price for the trim you want. If none bite your too low, wait make a new offer with a fresh email. It is basically a shotgunning approach but it does work and will get you the one of lowest prices in your area.

His - 08 X Prem 5mt
Hers - 08 X 4EAT

Skip the Calgary dealerships. Give Scott Subaru a call. It seems like they've treated a lot of Alberta Subaru buyers really well.

I'm only hoping for snow because I now have a Subie. I hope we get a good snow storm this year. I also have Michelin Ice X snow tires on it.

I hail from near Georgian Bay in Ontario... so we get the lake effect each winter! Looking forward to 6 months of winter! Whoooo! Not! :P

I REALLY want to take some sort of winter driving course this year. Better get my dad in on it. :P I'm always worried I'm going to roll the Forester during tight turns and whatnot, hahaha. Learning how to actually DRIVE in snow might help to assuage my fears. ;)

Next goal for this winter... train myself NOT to go around corners in neutral (i.e. with the clutch pressed down). I just realized that that actually might mean that AWD doesn't work as well as it should... or, erm... not at all. :P Am I correct? If I am, then good for me for realizing it early, lol!

Will do!! thanks pal, I've never thought of anything except the 2 dealers in town.

Didn't expect so many people from north of the boarder. lol

I like snow :) I have had a few "winter driving condition" commutes already this season. I'm anxiously waiting for it to really kick in gear.
