What great pics.
I lost my beautiful Pepper to cancer in
Dec. Ripped my heart out.
Love'em and hug'em,
they are all so wonderful and
give us so much.
Sorry to hear about your dog too. Our lab (Sugar Magnolia - a.k.a. Maggie) survived a cancer operation which extended her life for almost three years. In the end - we feel the cancer had come back in one of her legs...and we had to have her put down. She was 13. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. :(
I will always miss her. She was a great companion.
^ This picture was taken on a road trip to a relatives house. She didn't seem to mind the extra cargo... Luggage, baby washer, etc. A real trooper!
Love 'em while you have 'em...we lost our black lab (pepperblues, your loss of lab hits us hard too) last week to transitional cell carcinoma...still the hardest thing I've yet to get through...
I lost my previous dog, Samson to cancer. That's about one of the hardest things I've had to deal with. I told myself that was the last dog for me. 3 weeks later I found myself on a farm of a breeder, playing with Great Dane pups. Took Fisher home that day. Sure, the end is always bad, but everything before then makes up for it.

One of the reasons I picked up my Forester was to have more room to pile my stuff in.... mountain bikes, surfboards and my dog.
Any other dog owners here?
My Great Dane, Fisher...
Is that a dog bed or just a bean bag? I have a hard time finding beds that my dogs (danes also) actually fit on. It's not as bad with the smaller of the two but my older dog never is able to squeeze more than half his body on to any dog bed that I have been able to find. Thanks in advance.
