Lightbulb Cool Flashlight

For some reason I love flashlights. I like to be prepared for stuff I guess. I just got a pretty cool one I plan on keeping in my car and thought I'd pass it on. It was relatively inexpensive and the quality is pretty darned good. What I like is how versatile it is, not to mention super bright. It can be used as a Lantern with the clear cap on (has a chrome cone inside to disburse light), remove the cap and it's a flashlight (you can not focus the beam like a mag light though) or you can put the red lens on (also has an internal chrome cone for light dispersing) that can be kept on steady or if you hold the on off switch down it will start to flash :

Amazon.com: Smith and Wesson Galaxy 3 Watt Cree LED 4-in-1 Flashlight/Lantern/Flasher: Sports & Outdoors

this is where I got it:

Smith & Wesson Galaxy 4n1 3Watt Cree LED Flashlight, SW3CRLL : SW3CRLL - Buy.com

even came with duracel batteries and a small carabineer clip. There is a magnet at the back end too. The magnet is fairly strong but not great. Biggest cons I can see is when you take the lens off one end you don't really have anywhere to put it and since they are plastic they can crack. I suppose they can crack if you over tighten them too. In any case seems to be a good flashlight to keep in the glove box with an extra set of batteries.

'been looking at the Fenix and Surefire LEDs that take a pair of AA's. Surefire is just too much jack for a flashlight. I'm considering the Fenix.

Why do you need lazer? You can't aim? hehe.

I have 2 Insight XTI Procyon, one on my HK45 home defense gun and another on a Noveske AR15, I am happy with it consider the price, it's really good light.

I love good flashlights!

I have a Fenix LO1D single AAA light that is incredible (should be for around $50). I also have the simpler Fenix E01. These single AAA lights are excellent for every-day carry.

I have a NiteCore Tactical Smart PD D10 that can put out a brighter beam with its single AA battery than an old four D-cell Maglite! The output (and therefore, run time) is totally adjustable and the design eliminates springy contacts that can eventually fail. It's my favorite light.

This is my choice of the lights powered by two AA cells:
The NiteCore Tactical SmartPD D20 This light is similar to the one I mentioned above, except with more brightness and run time.

I've replaced the Xenon bulbs in my older Surefire lights (6P and G2) with modern Cree high-output LED emitters and they are almost too bright for general use!

Check out the Candlepower Forums for more flashlight information than anyone could possibly use.

Take care,
desmobob

You light someone on fire instead with " the torch" by wicked lasers. The Torch Flashlight - World's Brightest Flashlight from Wicked Lasers
now that's a sweet flashlight. Their lasers are sweet too.
