Default Business Guide...

So, we thought we'd offer a business guide for those of you lucky enough to be your own boss.

If you own your own business, please let us know services you offer, a link to your website, and what discount our members could expect to receive from you.

Please, no vendors postings here, and if you're not posting a business/offer, then please refrain from posting. I don't want to clutter this thread up with "Oh, that's a great deal!!" kind of posts, please.

My wife does editing, proofreading, and copywriting - anything related to putting words in print (copywriting is writing copy for ads, not (c) stuff).

She's worked for:
- Lowe's Companies (copywriter in advertising)
- Samaritan's Purse International Relief Org (senior communications editor/manager in donor ministries)
- Blair Publishing (semester internship)
- freelance work with graphic designers

And she currently has an editor at a publishing house looking at sample chapters for her first completed novel (a major accomplishment for any writer).

So if you can't figure out who/whom/whose for your doctorate, ping me and she can edit your work for a reasonable fee. And maybe one day soon you'll see all four of her novels in print!

About 7 years ago I left a good job in corporate America and started my own 501(c)3 non-profit business, a church. I specialize in marriage, counseling, psychology, exorcisms, funerals, and a variety of other things, though this usually applies to members of my congregation.

However, if anyone is seeking genuine and sincere spiritual guidance, or has questions about such things, I would be happy to serve as a friend, a sounding board, an e-shepherd.

Free, of course; it's what i love, it's what I do, it's who I am.

Although I have a "day job" working for someone else I have 2 "businesses" on the side:

I sell mainly NOS (new old stock) and some used parts for Vintage (pre 1974 mostly) British and European motorcycles and I run a parts locator service (I have contacts all over the world) so if you need something let me know, check me out at www.caferacersoftexas.com (the site is a work in progress).

I am also a dealer/collector of antique, American made, mechanical pocket watches so here is my offer to sf.org folks:
If you have a watch that you want to find out about send me an email and I will give you what info I can (year, model, jewel count, insurance value, Gold content, etc.) about it without seeing it in person (clear and close photo's help a lot).

My wife makes jewelry as her hobby. She mostly works with beads and silver wire. She does a very nice making Mothers Bracelets and stuff like that. Her prices are super low from what I can tell. If you know someone that is having a baby or want to get your wife something as a surprise PM me off line. She does it for fun so she doesn't charge much more than the materials. If you have a design idea or favorite colours she likes projects like that too. Here is a link to some of the things shes made:

I'm working in a very small niche as a field technician in the woodworking industry for Giben-brand panel saws. If you're not familiar with that equipment, you can get an idea of the stuff I work on by going to www.giben.com. I know it's pretty obscure but hopefully I can be of help to some of our forum members. There are two parts to my business:

- On-site technical work including machine installation, training, troubleshooting and repair, used-machine evaluation, and pre-purchase consultation. Basically anything Giben panel saw-related that would require an on-site technical visit.

- Used parts salvage and sales. As machines get older, it's often the electronics that becomes the weak point in the system. Most of the electronics and electrical components are supplied by third-party manufacturers and they independently determine when items become obsolete. Recognizing that an otherwise functional machine can meet an early retirement as these electronic components are no longer to be found on the market, I'm trying to salvage many components from machines that are going to the scrap yard. I try to get parts only from machines that I have either recently seen in operation or for which I know the history. The same applies to older pneumatic items and I am collecting and refurbishing those, as well.

Among the parts I currently carry:

- Relays, motor contactors, and overloads, mostly Moeller brand.
- Various models of older Moeller PLCs, including PS22, PS306, and PS316.
- Many different older front-panel switches and contacts.
- Microswitches, various brands.
- Univer cylinders and solenoid valves.
- and a bunch of other odds and ends.

Most of my stuff will work on just about any type, brand, or model of industrial machinery. If your company is looking for spares to keep on the shelf and would like to save a significant amount of money, feel free to contact me through my website, www.dtmmachine.com. I can also help with finding sources for parts.

If you're in the woodworking industry at all, especially on the machinery side of things, shoot me an e-mail or phone call and we can discuss things. In addition to my own work, I know several other techs in the biz who work on other equipment. Like myself, some of them also sell parts at a large discount to what the OEMs charge. I also have a few dealer contacts who can help out if you're looking for new or used equipment.

I can vouch for the quality of her stuff! She makes really nice things. Bronwyn wears her bracelet almost every day. It's very special to her

Default www.foreclosureheadquarters.net...my company..

I just wanted to let everyone out there know about what amazing deals there are to be had in this foreclosure market..

i am located in san diego i am a realestate investor and agent. I do alot of work directly for the banks these days selling there foreclosed properties and helping people to navigate the foreclosure process.

what does that mean to you?

well that means that if you are someone that is facing foreclosure i can help answer alot of the ?'s im sure you have..and help you to actually profit from foreclosing. sounds strange but its true i just helped a client get a check for 6300$ after he foreclosed for relocation.

in addition if you are someone wanting to know how you can get invloved in this foreclosure market and make some money im the guy to talk to.

like i said i work directly for 9 of the biggest mortgage banks in th united states so i have acess to there foreclosed inventory before it even hits the open market..

for example i had a client foreclose on his oceanside california condo that he owed 362,000 on..the day after the home went to public auction i was able to get an offer accepted for one of my buyers at 191k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats 173k less than what was owed on the home..

also if you are a licensed real estate agent i can help you get your foot in the door with these banks that i work for..its a large nation out there so if you not in san diego meaning not my direct competition i would be happy to help you...

so either way i just wanted to let everyone here on this site know that i can be a valuable resource for those who need it.. i may not be the most informed when it comes to a subaru motor ..but this is what i know all about so feel free to take advantage..

www.rentmycalculator.com

What we do is simple. We provide students with a TI-graphing calculator for their class starting at just $15 a semester. There is no need to purchase a new calculator you are only going to use for one semester or class.

Just click on the calculator you need for your particular class and fill in the order information and your calculator will be shipped to your door within a few days. Its that simple!

At the end of the semester a package will arrive for you to ship the calculator back. Just drop the calculator in the provided envelope and drop at the nearest mail box or post office.

Find you need your calculator for an additional semester? Great! We have great savings on repeat rentals and even ownerships plans too!
