ok i brought a Sigma M30 alarm for my04 sg5 xt
i had some time off work today so i decided to identafi the wires . how ever under the steering colum i found a green one way plug (unpuged) its a single green plug with a blue wire witch plugs in to a orange wire. so i plug it in and turned the key to on (not start) and the engine fans came on and ecu warning light started to flash on and off ![]() can some one else check and see if they have the same plug (unpluged) please. also there is a second plug the same in the drivers side foot well below the hood pull under the plastic mold that runs along the bottom of the door. its all a bit mad . make me wonder if there was or is a fault with the foz befor i brought it 5 weeks ago!!!!! |

There are two sets of disconnected plugs in Foresters under the dash. A green set and a black set. They are used for ECU diagnostics when connected. They should normally be left disconnected. The green ones are for the diagnosis, and I think the black set are for resetting error codes or the ECU itself or something like that.
