To be fair the range rover (and RR sport which you can just see in the background) all managed to get down the field, it got stuck on the way back. With all terrain tyres it was been unstoppable until then.

Hmmmm - stuck is stuck. You weren't....

Hi Theshootist,

Do you have any further opinions on the Pedders setup now you've had it on there for a few weeks? Thinking of getting a set as my rear end is listing to port and I suspect a weak SLS.

Did you replace all four, or leave the front stock?

Thanks

-- Steve

300bhp on AT tyres. That is going to be serious fun!

I honestly can't tell any difference with the pedders set up. Its coped with everything I've thrown at it through December. Seems to have been a good option over sls.

Did you go for the standard springs from Pedders or their lower ones?

Standard. My car does go offroad occasionally so I need the ground clearance.

Cheers for the info - Paul looks after my Forester too, and noticed that one of the front struts is starting to sweat/weep slightly at the last service.

I have been considering the Pedders route for a while now as a few on here seem very pleased with them, and was keen to get some feedback from anyone using their slightly lower springs...

Sounds good, thanks. I def can't justify the cash for new SLS (and was never really convinced they did much levelling anyway) so these seem like a good bet for pretty low outlay.

Wasn't sure which thread to update as I have started a couple - this seemed the most relevant!

The forester went back to extreme this morning for an SC36 turbo, new injectors (pink 550cc rather than the original plan of decapping) and a remap. I will hopefully also have the exhaust box sent back to H&S for some extra sound proofing, as at the moment 2 hrs on the motorway is very tiring and its a bit too loud for me.

sc36, nice choice you should be able to get some serious power out of that now! you should easily get more than 350bhp im guessing, just be carefull on the tq figures!

It would be great to reach 350 bhp, but I will wait and see. All the reports I read about the SC36 say that it spools up quickly, which is what I need - along with a good power increase.

I won't know what power its making when I pick it up as it will be mapped on the road.

SC36 and 850cc injectors now fitted - just waiting on the remap. Can't wait!

Sadly an STI underbody panel I sourced does not fit my '05 XTen.
