Default Thanks for the insurance advice

I'd just like to say thanks to all those who reccommended A-Plan insurance.

Took a policy out with them today, £285 with protected no-claims and mods as my previous insurance company where being really Anal about me putting Alloys on. They wanted £80 just for puttin on alloys plus they where £344.

Asked about the like for like replacement on such things and they said "We offer a like for like replacement and where this is not possible we offer a cash alternative"

just make a mental note to check the full docs arrive within a few weeks. They forgot to send mine out. Everything's still covered , just reassuring to have the bit of paper...

not needed for getting an online tax disc of course, as it just does an insurance db lookup...

£285! Is that for the 2.0 model? The 2.5XT is classified as group 17. Well, can't wait to get mine in 2 weeks anyway

I had to ask twice is that for the turbo! but 6 years no claims bonus, garaged and 5000 miles limited mileage (I work from home, and have 2 cars.)

Spoke to a bloke called Lee who obviously knew his job and was very helpful.

Yeah, though check your policy document before you sign and send it back and enter all your mods, just to cover your arse in case they have given you 'blanket' cover by BHP....
