just tried ;instand scratch pen ; and it works !!!!this is for very light scratches that have not gone through to the paint eg fingernail marks round door handles or light marks on bonnets . total cost of £12-95p for 2 pens phone 0871 704 7776 or www.hss.uk.net/advert,had it given as present & thought it would be another con but no it does work as long as it is only the top lacquer that is scratched
Best stuff I've found for removing light scratches from the clear coat is Autoglym Paint renovator.
It is a very mild cutting paste/polish, and it works brilliantly, got a scratch out of the roof of the Impreza (after a garage shelf fell on it - don't ask). I was amazed.
Gets rid of the marks under the door handle no problem, used it on the wifes Fiat 500 at the weekend, along with clay bar, and 3 coats of polish/wax Well shiney now.
It sounds good, but...is there ever a scratch that doesn't go through the colour layer on a Subaru? :icon_cry:
