Nope I've got it.

The turbo S reg is a subaru UK registration. It was used on a few demo cars at the time.

Did you know about your cars fame before you bought it? (and does it still have stilts?!!! ;-) )

I didn't, I knew it was a Subaru Uk car (from date of reg and number plates), a friend has found an old pic showing my car in the employees car park at Prodrive, although thats got no date on it, so whether it went there before or after its life as a press hack I don't know! And its still on stilts!
