At 70mph on the satnav its doin 3100rpm mine does have a td04 turbo fitted and the ghetto bov mod. The ARB will get done when I get them sti struts off Gigsy at the end of the month. So should sharpen the handling up a bit then Ill tackle the wheel tyre issue. Got a rear wheel bearing to fit on Friday so that's 1 less noise to here at mway speeds !!

Well both rear wheel bearings fitted and so much quieter to drive found the osr bearing outer race was heavily pitted about 1/4 of the way round so explains why it was so loud.
Fitted NTN bearings new seals and cir-clips. Not a nice job but well worth it wouldn't tackle it at home used a ramp at a mates garage so had air tools and a press. Fitted a s/h rear ARB off a U.K. impreza turbo so that has made a real differenced to the pencil one fitted as standard bargain at a £10 from my local breakers. Gigsy am I still OK for the sti struts you mentioned, will have money at the end of the month ?
