Just a heads up for all the members in the Blackpool area, Alex Taylor and Cala Sharp will be campaigning 'Frosty' in the north west stages this coming Friday and Saturday, well worth attending if you can.
They had a really bad 2012 having to re-shell the car 3 times in 3 rally's so the least you can do is go and cheer them on in 2013. I attended the Croft Christmas Stages and had a chat to the pair of them in the pits, considering all the problems they were having with lack of grip, the windscreen steaming up and hitting things they were still the nicest people you could ever meet. I've just had a quick look at the standings and after stage 20 they're 6th overall
For some reason they've lost 2:04 on the first stage and finished in 77th place Overall Positions Car 11 Competitor Results Thought I'd add a few pictures from Croft ![]() ![]()

Its all over and they've finished 6th overall, with only 9 seconds splitting 6th - 3rd a 3rd place was really on the cards.
I still don't know why they received a maximum stage time penalty on the very first stage, but it looks to have cost them a podium finish. Overall Positions Last edited by Guinness; 02-09-2013 at 10:06 AM. |
