Coopsters Blog

Hi All,

Said i would Start a Blog On My Forester:

to be honest i kinda fell in to Subaru's over the years ive many many cars and was always kinda on the heal so to speak of the modified bug,
i first got bitten by the bug when i brought my yaris vitz 1.5l:

entered in to quite a few shows round Ireland including cool nights and had a feature in modified motors mag
not to much engine wise just the usual bits , hks induction kit and a savage body kit with power flow system.
went the hole hog when pimp my ride came out and did the whole black fur theme with a 7000watt sound system....................

next on the list was this:
my honda integra 1.8 vtec
brought in black and as standard as they come and inneed of some work:

brought lots of bits from the states:
new headers, full cat back flow system, mapped ecu, vtec controller, external coil, resprayed rocker cover ect...........

next on the list was this (due to my third child on the way) thought a family car was needed:
vectra 1.6 pants mobile .
spent some cash on this one thinking ill be happy if it look ok, not worried about power. :ponder: it lasted 6 months

so being unhappy with that was on the scout for a new motor, nothing in mind and one day at a local dealer seen this in the corner:
never even heard of the forester model before but like the sound of owning a Subaru i took it for a spin..............
to be honest i was not sure if i wanted it, but thought to my self if i dont trade in this vectra im going to get stuck with it.

have to say after a few days the mod bug bit me and but me hard .
first i had to get new wheels,
then the window tint, next was the dvd player install and uprated the speakers
then............oh here this is quicker, :idea1:

Coops, further to my post of Surreyscoobies, I have only the one criticism.

Maybe you've changed it already, but it needs a better tailpipe matey ! Something big & shiny

The guy that won had owned alot of cars but I think it was more about the completeness of the blog and the writing style, he had some nice cars like an old Esprit but had not spent mega bucks.
The guy who came second had much fewer cars and currently owns a Forester!
Thorburn's Profile

It would be lovely to win something decent like that tho!

Anyhow, I really like your cars, I think you have a good eye for colour and design, there is obviously alot of care taken and they look 'finished' (tastes are always very personal with cars tho of course!). I Particularly like little details such as the lines on the Forester bumper scuff thing kind of going with the wheels.
