Default Boge Automatic Shocks - What Springs do i need?

As per the thread title when I checked my rear shocks they appear to be Boge Automatic OEM non-SLS, but the fact that the car sits so low at the back seems to indicate its still on SLS springs?

What springs do I need to restore the ride height? I have seen mention of KYB or Excel non SLS springs - would they be suitable?

Or do I need to contact Springcoil for custom replacements?

I'm also wondering whether my old rear springs from the legacy (gen iv BL9) might fit but that's a long shot......

Springcoil mate will do you a pair for good money, I am sure someone will be along shortly with the specs/contact details
Have you checked out the sticky at the top of the Europe forum?
KYB excel-g part numbers for SF.
KYB make springs for this model..

OK now Im really confused. Just ordered some new radiator hoses from Subaru and whilst on the phone asked them whether my car had SLS shocks from the factory. After looking on their system he said no mine didnt.

So which cars did have SLS fitted? Was it an optional extra?

ALL UK SG Foresters came with self levelling rear struts - not an option. One reason why rear non SLS springs are not available in the UK for the SG and Springcoil fills the need.

Many thanks for that - means I have to declare the 'normal' struts to the insurers as a modification.

Which also removes the need to keep the rest of the suspension standard..........

Mine was an SF euro which in the UK market was fitted with SLS, but...because the old geezer purchased it from Belgium it wasn't fitted with them.
I didn't know the SG's were ALL fitted with SLS regardless so I have learned something today
On a side note I found an invoice for my SF where the owners took it to a uk dealer to have it spec'd up to a UK car with rear 12v socket and other stuff fitted
