Guys, I'm going to the Sunday Brunch Scramble at Bicester Heritage on the 26th April. Never been before but apparently they're very good with lots to see and do[read old cars, bikes, planes, bacon and egg baps...bap, that's a lovely word!...and plenty of urn-brewed tea :smile2:
Simon, I'm going...and looking at the list above it's just us :frown2: Will be there with a few guys with interesting classics. May be you could muster the northern troops, Lucas et al.
Shooter Henry, are you up for this too? May be you could convoy up with some of the southern/south east guys and head up the M40?
Mike D, have you moved to another Galaxy/dimension? If not we could meet at Chieveley Service Station as before for the first bacon butty of the day?
+ anyone else, fpan, pindie, banstead, kk3960, nich b, tmx...?
Really? I was just going to turn up at 10.30 and pay on the gate. I'll call Bicester trow and find out if we can turn up at 10.30. Can't possibly imagine they'll turn us away. A+
PS Guys, if they won't let us in there are plenty of other interesting places near in the Oxford area...we could even hit the Bladon Museum and take lunch + beer in Woodstock [next to Blenheim Palace]
We'll meet at Bicester Village for 10.15. Park in the multi-storey car car park on the left hand side. We'll take my car to RAF Bicester as you guys have driven some distance and we'll kindly use Simon's ticket for entry :smile2:
First port of call, bacon butties and a brew to settle us in, then sit back enjoy the views! 750 classic and sports cars should keep us busy + the motorcycles + the aircraft + the open classics workshops...
Sounds like a plan. See you at Donington. Any changes text me.
Also I won't be able to stay longer than till 4PM max. I am starting new work on Monday, early in the morning and want to be able to prepare properly.
I'd love to come but can't unfortunately as the shower is half way through giving birth and the plumber is coming tomorrow to finish it off (it has taken him 4.5 months since he started, yeeha!). Don't you love builders!
