I got the Sokie Tech ones listed on ebay, they were ordered late on the 9th and I received them today. I reckon that's pretty good going in processing the order and shipping from Taiwan. Was £38.44 all in and they're quality items. Went through a few boot struts on my BMW and these are every bit as well made as the ones the dealer used to supply me. And they were that price individually.
They went straight on with no fuss. Lift the bonnet maybe 18 inches and the struts take it the rest of the way and slow right down as they come to the end of their travel. No more knocking the bonnet stay and worrying its gonna come down on me or the tools I've got resting on the engine! Top tip: push the struts down on a carpet or something to get them moving before you attach them to the car. Not so easy to do it with the palm of your hand! Haven't seen any reviews for them on here so just thought I'd give them my seal of approval FWIW Cheers |

For 55euro but they are listed for the SG, so I'm hoping there's not much on the difference http://bit.ly/VG7MxW |

I've been watching these for a few days now as I've been trying to find reviews. Think I might treat myself. Thanks for the review

Looks the same as mine! :)
See if you can find where the silver washer goes! I've saved mine but I didn't use it. |

Well got them installed
and very pleased. The only issue I got is that I cannot put the split pin on the bottom of the right hand strut. I see what you mean by the washers I put mine on the bottom bolts.

How strange. Thats the one I had trouble with too. They arent left and right so its just coincidence. The ball wasn't fully in the socket so a gentle tap with a hammer, and a glove in between to stop scratches, knocked mine in.
