At last! Subaru have released "silent cylinder technology".
They now have a device which is dealer retro fit only but it allows the ecu to cut fuel to cyliners when power is not required. From what I read it means it gives you about 100bhp when in traffic etc or light throttle openings but as soon as you give it the beans all injectors come alive and give you back whatever power your car is making normally. This means 50 mpg is possible in a 2.5 XT or FSTI. Ring or email your main dealer today before 12 noon to register your interest in free fitting of the device. |

There are some keen eyes out there!
It all started with Subarus email to me telling me they have launched self cleaning XV's. I soon realised what day it was after thinking "Wow they really are trying hard to shift those munter wagons". |
