Nice shots! 2 & 4 are fantastic!

The only one I don't like is #8. And the only reason I don't like it is the angle that you shot her at. It's very easy to give subjects double chins when you shoot from below.

If you want that shot, you've got to compensate by asking her to stretch out her neck a bit.

In shot #5, I would've shot a bit more of the sky and less of the ground to give it an even better proportion.

Other than that, absolutely beautiful shots.

That pic of the Charger is awesome. I love them all though.

I agree with the others on the shot of the girl (the close-up), but otherwise they're great! I LOVE what you can do with the clouds especially. BTW thanks for those tips you sent me, I'm going to try my best to learn from them!

Really though, as good as you are, you should do up a portfolio and talk to some car mags... I think you have a future in this line of work if you want it.

BAC5.2 will become famous soon enough

#1 is good, though the car is slow.

#2 lacks perspective so it look kind of like a toy car. Plus it's an automatic.

#3 VERY vivid coloring. Very nice, but it's FWD.

#4 Low light makes it hard to see the detail of the wheels. American junk.

#5 and #6 totally awesome!

#7 This is like the big girl pictures. Put something ugly next to something hot and it really lets you know how ugly the new Mustang really is. Though there is a clear similarity between the Mustang and WALL-E.

#8 Pretty lady, but the "from below" angle is unflattering.

#9 Great detail

#10 Nicely laid out.

1. Nice. I love the lighting. Very soft. Car looks like it has a mask!

2. Lighting is also excellent. Were these first three overcast light? The soft shadows are nice.

3. Love the color. Angle is nice. Again, love the soft light.

4. Love the dramatic sky. Nice flame job on the car. Wish I could see a bit more detail in the blacks.

5-6. Defenders are awesome. Makes any picture good. :) Nice angles on these.

7. Nice except I don't like her clipping the front of the car. Need separation.

8. I do like the lighting here. Maybe have her look up a hair more to rid the 2x chin. Otherwise nice.

9. It's alright... Maybe too centered for me.

10. Cool details and patterns!

Thanks Ken. Thanks for the critique. The lighting in the first three shots were in the shadow of a large building about 1 hour before sunset.

Bode, thanks for your comment. You're definitely in the minority about #8 :)

I don't have any critiques that haven't already been said, so I won't write them out, but great job on them.

What cam/lens were you using? What program did you use for editing?

The equipment that I'm using is:

Nikon D50
Tamron 70-300
Tamron 28-80
Photoshop CS2
Circular polarizer (most car shots)
Manfrotto tripod
Nikon sb800 speedlight

I need/want a few more lenses and another flash(sb600) with a couple of stands.

-Josh

Thanks for the comments and critiques. Keep them coming if you have them.
