Welcome to the MD, VA, PA thread. We hope you enjoy the camaraderie and participate in the discussions. Occasionally we like to get together for various reasons and the more, the merrier!
We just had a meet up on Sunday Oct 22nd at Shane's place. Only 4 people were present but it was a blast none the less. Here are some pictures:
We hope to make this a regular thing. Any new info will be posted here.
It was a good time, we got to do another meet again soon. So looks like you all installed the steering bushings on Shane's SF after I left? How did it go?
Thanks again for helping install the new suspension on my SF, and for having us over Shane.
ha we tried to do the steering bushings on my car, the bolts didn't want to come all the way out so we shot them with some pb blaster and gonna let em sit for a week or so and try again.
got some pics of this meet. it was a good time and got just about everything installed :icon_rolleyes:
Todd (aka Toddlamp) on the silver 06 xt installed rear swaybar mounts, changed oil, played with oil cooler, probably some other stuff that i forget
The black beauty above had some sweet pb blaster installed sprayed on some bolts, and thats about it
Noah (aka Nachas) had a expertly installed  suspension, wrx wagon springs and struts.
Hey Guys, just wondering if you guys still do this meet. I would love to join you and gain some more information about my SH MY11 Forester XT. Perhaps also some help w installing coilovers. I'm usually floating around Arlington area as well as Howard County MD.
Looks like you guys had a good time, we just had a "anyone on the other side of philly" meet last week, 10/14. We had 6 Forester and an STI, hopefully we can all get together for the next one. I'll get some pics up of ours too.
Scott
This last time we met in Westminster. Next time it could be ANYWHERE. Anybody have any place in mind? Plan now and it'll give me an excuse to buy some parts.
YESS!! finally! i mentioned it in the MD, DC, VA post, but no1 seemed to like the idea! i am REALLY down because this is something that I can also do(since i don't have a license or permit :-( )!!!! YES!!! PLEASE!!!
Well then you find a place that is nice. It needs to be is a place that is as centrally located as possible. I think it should be something we do at night and installed during the day. Is there anyone that will volunteer their place?
Like what? And exactly where and when? I'm not up to date on my Go-Kart tracks. We should get this planned ASAP before it gets really cold. I'm voting for Sunday Nov 12th
We should all get together for a dinner around the holidays, it will be to cold to work on cars but it would be nice to meet everyone from all the surrounding states (Pa, NJ, Va, Md, De.. and so on) We could reserve a back room at a restaurant some where in the middle for all of us. What do you guys think?
But yes, if we could get a larger meet before it gets cold that would be nice too, not sure how many more weeks we will have.
I think that sounds like a swell thing to do. We can represent with a caravan of Foresters. Hang out, buy some parts, then go someplace to install it. I'm in. Nice find Turkey.
I am going to go too. We should figure out a good meeting spot. It seems to be north enough that the people south of b-more and VA can meet up somewhere along the way. Any ideas?
I am actually SW of Agile and I probably won't be there until 1pm or so. Saturdays are a tradition for me to eat at Sole d'Italia in Layhill (if you never eaten there make it a point to go). My wife would not take kindly to missing her Saturday pizza outing. :icon_biggrin:
I recently had them do my Cobb Stage 2 install. Their shop is pretty big.
Any time. Seriously, I have been tossing around the idea of an arcade and movie night. I have this theater in my basement and I barely use it but 2-3 times a month. Seems like I never have the time to use it.
Well.... If you're serious about it, maybe you would be up for volunteering your house for a meet? I would pick up beer and food no prob. Maybe we could meet up there after the Agile thingy.
Awesome! It makes me really excited to read this thread! I can vouch for Agile, these guys are cool and if they setup an open house it means that at least 2/3 of Bel Air Subaru Club will be there. I hang out with them when I can and can vouch for them too, they're friendly folks. And I'm totally for an indoor meet when it gets colder.
Speaking about go karts. There is a Crofton Go-Kart Raceway not far from me. Can't say much about it, I just know it exists.
