I know! It sounds absolutely brilliant!! Read all about the 2008 edition, looking forward to hearing the stories and seeing the pictures!

Twisty roads? Well there goes a co-driver for me (if I could go). Lift + tires + no sway bars = carsick passengers on twisty roads.

Don't forget if you can't come and still want to get in on the raffle, you can donate here: http://main.acsevents.org/goto/48hrs and for every $10 you donate you get 1 raffle ticket. Winner need not be present!

What is the cause?

Not sure if I can share the cabin, though. I have a co-driver with me, and have no desire to share a bed with him.

I thought the group was all crashing at the restaurant which shares a hotel, etc???

If my co-driver bails I'd be in though.

I assume that the winner will be responsible for the shipping costs?

Bruce: That's where we are staying. Just let me know if you want to get in on the room.

My co-driver is fine with floor space. I was also going to bunk with white/yellow knight for the trip. Think that may put us over the limit. But if there is floor space, you can put us in there and we'll figure it out when we get there.

Hey Todd, still interested in the trans. I can now include rear diff, front axles and driveshaft.

If anyone that lives near me wins a prize, I have no problem bringing it back for them, so they don't have to get it shipped from somewhere else.

I put up hotel info for the resort. The Cabins are multi bedroom
So you may all fit in one.

Most of the prizes so far are vouchers so yeah I'd say that the winners will need to pay shipping, although the vendors may pick that up.

I inquired about the cabins and apparently they are no available in the winter time since they have no heat.

There are multi room porch suites, and that is what I am going to reserve. When I talked to them the other day they were completely open for that day.

Speak to mark or lynn at dunhams bay. Dr g spoke to mark this morning and he assured us that the cabins have heat and are ready to go. Mark was actually livid that someone there said they weren't ready!

Woot!! I just scored us the Grand Suite. It's basically two connecting hotel rooms. Best of all it's got 6 beds!!!!! 1 queen bed, 1 queen sofa, and 4 twins!!! So if 6 of us go in on it it'll be $32 each and we'll have our own beds. If two people wanted to double up we could fit 8 people in there not to mention the the floor space. Each room has it's own bathroom too. No kitchen though; oh well.

If you guys are cool with that post PM me your full name since they need me to add it to the room (incase we get sperated, lose your key, etc.). If you and someone else are willing to share a queen bed let me know. That would bring the $$ per person down.

Currently this is what we have for Dunham:

toddlamp: Todd - twin bed 1
Bravo12: Jeff Gilbert - queen bed 1
" " Dan Gilbert - queen bed 1
guroove: - twin 2
Alexksey: Alex - twin 3
Bruce: queen bed 2

Todd,
Put me down for 1 queen, 1 twin, and 1 floor. That should cover all of us.
Who's sharing what for Friday night?
