Well I think the Thursday is meant as the night we get to Cherry Hill, NJ. So you would only really need off that Friday.

I'll be attending this year again as well. It is always a great time. Not sure what I'll be driving whether it'll be my forester, our S, or maybe even the Tribeca. I still have a couple of months to figure it out.

Oooh, I bet the Tribeca would be nice and comfy. Everyone should know that speed and power are completely irrelevant on this trip. If I had a choice of Subarus to take, I would pick the one with the best fuel economy!

I hope to solve my coolant lose/overheating problem and be ready for the ride. Even if I didn't h ave a great time last year (or at least as good as I could while being completely sick) I would still go just for the raffle. Those prizes were ridiculous!!! And I think everyone got at least something.

Bruce, tell everyone all the sick prizes you won...

How far do people come for this? I have many places I could stay near Philly (I am sitting in a house in Rosemont typing this as we speak) and am orig from Toms River. All or a good cause...

I wonder if I could talk the wife into letting me put over 2k on the car in a week...?

I'm not sure exactly where people come but they do come from all over the northeast. You could stay in Philly the day before we go to Cherry Hill, NJ for SOA headquarters.

People come from all over. I think that guy that drives the furthest each year is Ted, one of the organizers who drives from northern NH down to Philly for the start, then does the trip, ending in southern NY, then drives back to NH.

Everyone is welcome to join in. People from Pittsburg join us on occasion and we had one crazy guy come all the way from Canada (Toronto area) last year.

As for prizes, I made out pretty well. I ended up with quite a few, even after turning some of them down.
-WRC R/C car
-T-shirts
-SPT Battery tie down and oil cap
-Precision Tuning gift certificate
-Justice Racing Engines gift certificate

I turned down t-shirts, radiator cooling plates, other battery tie downs, etc.

Everyone that wanted one got mugs, USB ports, pens, etc all from SDC (Subaru Distribution Corp.)

Ottawa specifically and that was one hella snowstorm trip on the way down. I won a set of braided lines and a great T-shirt . Shame 2008 isn't passing through Canada, we'd have some real snowy roads then . Maybe we need a "Forester Edition"

I figured you meant me. Now Toronto people will get insulted as its the "center of the universe" LOL. I'd like to come but can't commit right now. Was lots of fun mind you.
