Tire fitment question

I just bought a set of 15x7 Method 502 VT spec with a +15 offset: I own a 2009 forester xt with unmodded suspension or lift of any kind. My question is to anyone with a similar set up: how big of a tire can I put under it without doing any cutting?

The OEM offset is either 45 or or 48mm depending on the tir.. I get myself confused on what happens when you change the offset
