Saturday, March 12th at 8 AM

Northwest OHV Park
2914 S State Highway 101, Bridgeport, Texas 76426

We will be doing something a little different this year. Instead of team leaders, we will have trail leaders. The trail leaders will organize, direct, and offer assistance to anyone that would like to join a trail lead group. For everyone else, feel free to socialize with your fellow Soft Roaders and hit the trails with your new buddy.

This will be a family event. Bring your children, spouse, and/or significant other. Please be respectful while using two-way communication during this event.

Event Coordinator:
John Phou - 2007 Toyota Tacoma

Itinerary (subject to change):
8:00 AM - Arrival at Northwest OHV Park. Meet at the Pavillion. You will receive a map at the gate upon entering. Check the map for location of the Pavillion or follow a fellow Soft Roader.

9:00 AM - Intermediate and beginner trail lead groups start.

12:00 PM - Lunch at the pavillion.

Trail Leaders:
Vinay Sisoukraj - 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport - Novice
Michael Weaver - 1981 Toyota Pickup - Intermediate

The novice group will consist of drivers that have never been to the park, stock/unmodified vehicles, and/or drivers who would like some guidance through the trails. Vinay will do his best to prevent any damages from occuring to your vehicle. He knows the beginner trails well and will safely guide you through. We recommend 4x4/AWD and all-terrain tires. However, we have had stock Subaru Foresters on street tires pass with no problems. 2WD would not be recommended.

The intermediate group will consist of drivers that have been to the park and/or know your way around in an off-road environment. If you are bored with the the novice trail and would like a little more challange and excitement, join this group. Don't let Michael's Toyota intimidate you. During this group lead run, Michael will guide you through terrain that is a little more challanging than the novice group but still doable for most stock/unmodified vehicles. Some underside scrapes and "pinstripping" is to be expected. We recommend novice requirements + high clearance.

If you are interested in being a trail leader or to assist a trail leader (spotter), please let me know by messaging me with experience level (novice, intermediate, expert, or bad ***) and what vehicle you will be bringing.

Recovery:
Ryan Kole - Toyota Tacoma

In a bind with no one around? Ryan will be on two-way communication during the event to assist in recovery. CB and walkie talkie channels TBD.

Entry to the park will be $25. Check out their webpage for rules and regulations.
