I have Forester-specific KYB/Swifts along with a bunch of other suspension mods (Subtle fender cowl braces, Subtle rear trunk brace, Whiteline 22mm front and rear sway bars, Rallitek endlinks, Moboost X-brace, GTspec front strut brace, GTspec 4-point subframe brace, Gtspec front lower tie brace, Kartboy subframe lock bolts, STi aluminum control arms, STi aluminum lateral links) and I was wondering if swapping out the stock top hats for Group N top hats would make a difference in handling, and how it would affect ride quality/NVH.

Eventually, I'll be moving towards the Mann Engineering SG coilovers, but for now I was thinking of the aforementioned combo if it is indeed worth doing.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

With all the other braces you're adding, you'd likely never notice the NVH you'll get from the GrpN tophats hats. You may as well do it. Although, unless you're tracking the car, I don't see why you'd want to spend the extra money but, that is your call.

Will it make a difference? Yes.

Will it be a huge difference? No.

It will just be another "notch" up in the handling department. NVH shouldn't be a big deal with the struts. Might be a little firmer of a ride, but the bushings on the engine and transmission create more NVH than anything else.
