Default KYB Struts on Forester XT - SLS

I was just planning some future modifications (provided the money allows for it) to raise the suspension with the appropriate King Springs when I hit a dead-end...

The question is, since I don't believe they will fit the OE struts with the Self Leveling Suspension, can I just change the struts to KYB ones straight away or does the SLS require any additional mod??

If that's not an option, does anyone have any suggestions?

Cheers!

I should be able to tell you soon. I have ordered the struts, but am not sure yet just what height spring to get. I was going to add a strut-top lift as well but I have third-hand information that all might not be sweet with the sway bars.

I will be doing kyb in near future but with whiteline control springs.

I guess that if you plan different suspension height and spring stiffness you should match struts or accept that they will not perform at their optimum and will probably wear faster.

It's just stubborn-reader's knowledge - I also need confirmation of this.
