moses is on a distinguished road
Default forester rear brakes

A lady friend is visiting soon and need rear brake on her subaru forester. I can do the job no problem but will the car "truck?" have rear disc or drums she is clueless I think its a 1999 0r 2000 thanks

I'm not sure but if those models are anything like here it depends on what kinda forester she has. Like my turbo has rear disc breaks but the standard edition has drums. On top of that there is some versions in between that.

Easiest thing I can think of is to ask her to look through the back wheels and ask if she sees a blank disc or some iron colored round shaped thing. If she can't see the metallic disc behind the wheels you know the answer

Either disc or drum, depending on model. Check cars101.com for details on equipment and options.
