i can't afford to pay a mechanic right now, which is why i did all the work myself (as i usually do). all the work i've done to it so far, it would have amounted to more than what i purchased the car for.
the engine runs fine for the most part, it's just that darned CEL. i'm still waiting for a reply from tre36 for that info he emailed the OP. i want to check to see if my cyl4 FI is getting the right voltage/power. and i'm wondering if i should have gone with OEM plugs and wires. also, i heard about getting my ECM reflashed.
i'm sure with the right resources that forums such as these provide, i can solve the issue sooner or later. but finding the problem later than sooner, is what i'm worried about.
