I have the Whiteline BSF33XZ, made for the stock ride height Forester. Yes there is a difference. Since all 2004 STI stuff fits on 2004 Forester, if you swapped and you're dropped you need STI drop sway bars. Stock height wont work. i am now dropped STI everything, so im selling my stock height WL bar as it did not work with the caster adding aluminum front control arms w/offset ALK bushings on lowered Swift springs. It may work with adjustable caster parts.

I use both BSF33XZ and BSF36XXZ version with no problem.

Forester and 07 STI use same part number. 07 STI does not have extra caster like 04-06 STI.

There are subtle differences to account caster differences and avoid the bar rubbing the tie rod. The only time I have issues is only after I did free caster mod and use Whiteline Com-C top hats that literally double the caster angle of stock Forester. I fix this by using adjustable end link.

Quick question. How dropped are you? I have an 06 with a 20mm STI rear sway bar, planning to drop with kyb and swift springs. Would there be an issue with that setup or doing to 22-24mm whiteline?

No i don't think so. As long as you don't mess with the caster, Forester fitment bars should work fine. I had a problem because, in addition to Swifts and Kyb's, i also used positive caster anti lift bushings and positive caster aluminum LCA's. I had to do a roll center kit to finish straightening things out with an STI front bar.
