This sounds promising. It's snowing. So hopefully when I'm finished at work in 5 hours+ it's like 20" fluffy snow around. Not likely but I hope so.
But people coming in here is just complaining about the snow weather.
I respond by saying something like this "Hey, this is the weather I wished for. I think it's great"
Could be fun driving home from work in the morning
Well. atm. it's like 10-12cm snow on the ground so we will see.
The fun part is driving around stumbling up on people stuck becouse the main road is the only road cleared up in the morning meaning people not living by the main road here still need to get through all the snow that came over night. (Small town)
Yeah, I clicked on this thread thinking "Where is Elmy? Is it driving distance, so I can play in the snow this week?" No, you're in Norway. :icon_rolleyes: (And you have a turbo'd SF - you really suck, dude. And by 'suck', I mean I envy you.)
I'll deal with the dry roads and 50mph wind gusts we have here. At least the rain showers are over.
DOH!! I should have written it's snowing in Norway
You better move north then.
Thou I begin to wonder where we get most snow now a days. First snow we got we got in southern part of Norway. And they got alot more then we got this year. Then the snow melted away. Now we got it back again. A bit more then we first got. So hopefully it's not just teasing. It's said to be snowing until afternoon that is around 12-14 hours from now. So it looks good for now.
For your information I live in the northen part of this small land.
Only thing I wished I had on the car now is a skidplate. I'm waiting for a new one getting made so becouse of that I don't even have the plastic version mounted.
Well. It looks like we got around 10" of snow now. It's light snow that's coming down. So it takes some time for it to build up. And it's varying wildly from clear weather to so much light snow in the air to it's getting hard to see more then 50meters.
I wished it could get some heavy snow
Edit: The sucky thing is that I only got a mobilephone for camera. It's not all that great. 3.2MP with 2 LED's for blitz.
If it's light enough outside it will do ok. If dark it sucks. But it's light when I'm planning to take pics today so I guess it goes ok.
It snowed here last night. (Niagara Falls, Ontario)
It's only a few light inches, but it's enough to make everything look white and cause the world to forget how to drive.
Haha. That's so true. It' so many people going off the road or crashing into something when the snow comes. Many off those people do this becouse they have this wild imagination that the summer tires will be ok for couple of days.
thx I think
I would do better when it comes to norwegian but english will do too since it's what we learn in school and it's all around us. Tv/movies, games/computers, books and more.
So most of my "chatting" is in english rather then norwegian.
I noticed on the pics you posted that you get a lot of snow on your rear window. I was thinking about getting a spoiler on my new car but if it does'nt help all that much I don't want to spend nearly $ 600 on one if you still get all that white stuff on the rear window. I have the same problem with rain etc.
We get a lot of snow here also in the Interior of British Columbia but none yet.
If your getting a spoiler to avoid that then forget it. That snow you see is from the car standing there, Not from driving but if you try to avoid getting alot of water/snow when driving the spoiler is little help.
Edit: The spoiler is styling part as far as I see it. Nothing more.
The snow hasn't really arrived yet where i live, perhaps one inch at most but it's the first for the season, perhaps i should go out, play a bit with the Foz and a camera.
But you still have to go over the Atlantic if you wanna join the fun. (Not you Elmy though)
You should drive up north then. It's probely more snow there
