Did the H9 Headlight conversion, filled the gas tank, touched up a chip on the hood, and drove home like an old man to get the MPG average as high as possible so i could brag to the wife!

I'm supposed to be leaving for the 48hrs of Tristate at 2:00 this afternoon. I just tried to move the car. My new MAF is dead. Just, why?

Did you cake your K&N filter with oil? If that oil gets on the MAF, it's screwed. Just get some MAF cleaner and see if that helps. Also, be sure to lightly oil the filter. It really doesn't need much at all.

I just had my first snow day in the Forester since I purchased it. I was really blown away with the handling in 5" of fresh snow and lots of ice. Previous vehicle was a Ford Ranger, so without 4x4 it was useless. I passed a crazy number of cars in ditches (lost count at 40 over 35 miles), but the Forester made it a cake walk. My commute today definitely reaffirmed my faith in my car.

I'm with johnrhance, I also just got done driving around in the snow.. only 3-4 inches but there's no price tag I can put on how well it did compared to FWD's I am usually stuck driving in the snow.

I put in some 0-30 German Castrol, and screwed on a 57712 Wix oil filter.

Fabricated my rear mudflaps. I have a cardboard pattern for my holes, now to make one for the front two... Brave the cold? I just might.

Oil change + belt adjusted at Subaru Rally shop.
I then went to the dealer for the control arm recall, they were done before I bought the car

I've got to pick up some Rotella T5 0W30 for the beater tonight. She's due for an oil change and the previous owner "ran synthetic" so I'll stick to a nice synthetic blend that is better than the quick-lube "synthetic" it has run previously.
