Changed my headlights- got some Nightbreakers.. Waiting for night to see how they look.
Tried to get into the fog assemblies to put in some yellow bulbs I bought but couldn't get it done- started raining and just didn't have the desire to tool around under my car for another hour- those things are tricky!! |

I changed the oil cooler hose by the oil filter. I broke it a while back, and replaced with a Napa part but the fit wasn't ideal and leaked a little bit. I ordered an oem one from jackie.
Then i rotated my tires for the first time i have been slacking on that. Never really thought about it. Once i rotated them i noticed that the rotational arrows were pointing the wrong way. Then had to switch the back tires around. My front tires must have been on the wrong way for a while. That should be it for a while. Also changed the oil on Thursday. |

Plastidipped the front grill until i feel like gutting it for mesh. Matches the blacked out headlights much better!

PM(Preventative Maintenance).
Swappeed the winters on to the Misses Foz last weekend and did a once over on the brakes(disassemble, wire brush a few spots, lube the slides, anti-seize the bolts and hub flange). Didn't have time when I swapped my winters over, So it got done today after work. Was all prepped to do front/rear pads and rotors if needed(new sets in the garage) but at 55K I would say they are 70-80% left and wearing even. |

I Auto X it today, behind a Challenger R/T in my class by .127 seconds and beat out a vette and BRZ from higher classes. Overall averaged a 73second time. Video should be loaded tommorow to my Journal

^THIS I love hearing. Aside from the fact that Auto X is garbage and prooves nothing, it's great to see standard cars take out the "big guns". You know, because they are so much better than us...

Got our 2010 X about a month ago. Did my first upgrade/mod thingy this weekend. What's the right term?
Being a 2.5X, it's pretty base. I got and put in the door tweeter kit. Very simple but for the money it's a big difference for me. Still has the stock stereo but the sound is much improved. Those front door speaker are placed sooo low. With the kiddos in the back we fade the audio to the front and we were having to crack it to hear very well. The tweeters help a lot. Being a newbie, and it's my first mod, I'll give myself a dancing baby banana. ![]() Booya |
