Put an after market stereo in it and wrote about it on the Interior and Electronics sub forum. Speakers go in next week (I hope!).

I traded up for some Brembos, the paint is almost perfect...and the break pedal feel is simply amazing compared to my 4pots.

Sorry, all I have is the dealer's pics, dunno how long he'll keep it up on his site but here 2002 Subaru Forester - BERTOLINO AUTO SALES BRACKENRIDGE, PA
I didn't plan ahead while the sun was up. Suffice it to say I'm close to in love. Once I fix it up a touch I'll be there. No sense making a new post... But to finish out the day, as it's 11:46PM, I scrubbed some gum out of the ashtray (Thanks, previous owner!) and fixed the seemingly-typical cracked solder joint in the clock (had to run to Home Depot at 9:30 to get a spool of solder, mine seems to have walked away), then cleaned some errant small bits of trash that were missed behind the glove compartment when it was cleaned last. Bought a hitch bar, mount, tailight to trailer wiring harness, and rented a trailer from u-haul, then towed home 17 sheets of 4'x8's drywall, 47 2'x4's and 5 bags of insulation. Took me 5 hours to finish... i'm exhausted

All these savings for nothing, Foz is heavier than a loaded 18-wheeler apparently, yesterday the 60,000 lb per axle scale broke as I drove into the scale, they had to call in the CAT tech (white beard guy in the pic) so no official weight yet.
Obviously a coincidence, a very funny coincidence may add. ![]() ![]() Tech calling for help. ![]()

All on the XT: Replaced the cabin filter, performed the AC refresh, and reinstalled the magnaflow axleback with the correct gasket.

Installed a rear view camera (reverse) hooked up to my pioneer 4400bt.
I wanted to install it outside so I could see the hitch but ended installing it right under the rear upper brakelight on the inside of the glass. I can't see the hitch from this angle but it does the trick when reversing against other cars/lower objects that I can't see in the mirror. In general I got about 10-15cm between the hitch and the other car when the front grill of the car goes beneath my window view in the camera.
