Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car
When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!
What did you guys do to the subarus today??
I changed out the center console dual vent thing due to a broken slat. Also I put my mud flaps back on after blackening them. Oh and I installed a double cup holder.
Finished up a gauge pod I've been making! I have a ton of more pictures and could probably do a write up if people are interested enough for me to go so. I'll just post the finished product pictures and see what you guys think!
I had to cut out a square in the middle so when the gauges go in there they have clearance. I also cut a smaller hole in the back for the wires to go through.
To paint it I used Restoleum truck bed liner and it's a pretty close match for coming straight out of a can. Once it dried I hit it with some 1500 grit sandpaper to knock down some of the roughness and make it feel more like the OEM dash.

Got both of them washed. Apparently the idiots don't know how to wash a white car and gave me all kind of excuses why it wasn't clean. I circled the car and pointed out all the spots they missed. I'll never go to those idiots again. I'll have to rewash it myself when I have time.
Not today but Friday I installed a spoiler on my 2004XS along with some LEDs on the hatch trim. Also re-painted the chrome grill trim as it was chipping off after only a few months.
Nothing new today, but I did install STI aluminum control arms, whiteline 22mm front sway, STI rear sway, Kartboy endlinks, 2005 WRX seats, Subtle-Solutions rad shroud and an oem alt cover on the off road FSXT.
Gave mine a wash and tried out my adam's vht on the wheels and trim; I'm happy with it so far. Also the first wash with the spoiler on. I'm very happy with it, really finishes the back end properly.
I installed all new interior and door lighting with LEDs from Diode Dynamics. Took 15 minutes and the difference is very striking. I also have LEDs for the license plate lights but I can't get the @#$% factory bulbs out. :yell:
