Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car

When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

What did you guys do to the subarus today??

This morning I:
Wired up an LED strip in the back truck of my wife's '14 FXT. I wired it through the OEM switch so she can turn it on and off right with the stock lamp.
Applied some Collinite 845 to the front windows and will see how that works compared to the Aquapel that's already on the windshield. If I like it I'll do the rest of the windows and my 06 Legacy too.
Put air in one of my tires... one of them has a slow leak then sprayed some CG Stripper Scent in it!

Oh, and I compared two wheel cleaners. I've been using Eagle One A2Z foaming cleaner, and it works ok but I've noticed that it attacks brakes... not good so I ordered some Sonax. The Sonax seemed to work a bit better but does call for more dwelling time. It's way more expensive though... Eagle One $5 for 23oz vs Sonax $17 for 16oz!

I've been using the Griot's Garage green wheel cleaner and it works very well and doesn't mess with the brakes. I tried their heavy duty cleaner also and though it works well, it is VERY strong and you can basically smell it for a week after using it; which I don't like.

I used the instructions I found on these forums to remove my grille and bumper and painted the grille with Plasti Dip. I think it looks so much better! When the Plasti Dip starts to come off (hopefully not too soon...) I'm going to repaint it with more permanent paint.

It's the first modification I've ever done, and I'm pretty stoked to cook up some more :)
