Last count was 38.

Of all of them (4 cylinders, 5 cylinders, 6 cylinders, 8 cylinders and as flats, V's, east-wests, in-lines boxers in sedans, wagons, utes, hatches, trucks) I'd have to say a 1954 Morris Minor.

I took it from nothing (cost me $15) and totally rebuilt it, body, engine and all.

Finally sold it for $1200 (many years ago).

None of the 6 other Morries I owned came close to it.

Edit - I should have posted the list

Vanguard 6 (x2)
Morris Minor (x7)
Austin A30, A35, A40 Somerset and A40 Devon
Triumph Herald (850 and Vitesse)
Trumph 2000
Ford Cortina (MK1x3 and MK2x2)
VW Beetle
Landrover (Series 1x2 and Series 2x3)
Karmann Ghia
Holden Torana GTR
Nissan Sunny and Pulsar
BMW 323i
Holden Commodores (4's, 6's and 8's)
Ford Falcon
Subaru Legacy (x2)
Ford Falcon ute
Toyota Corolla (1990)
Subaru Forester XT
Golf GTI DSG (current)

Sentimental value, the Celica. That's the car I owned in Spain when I met my wife, proposed to her in Granada, and married her in Gibraltar.

First car: 1965 Mustang (new)!

1968 VW Bus: Drove across the country and back. Camped in it while in grad school.

Love-hate relationship: 1972 Saab Sonnet, orange in color (slightly used)!

Well built, long lasting: 1983 VW Quantum, 1995 Geo Prizm (both new)

Indestructable workhorse: 199x Toyota pickup (extremely used)

Others along the way, none particularly memorable.

Our current rides are listed below the line. Never buying anything other than Subies again!

1) 1990 Mazda 323 130 "Buzz Lightyear" Got it used when I started university in 1995 sold at the end of 2001 with 200 000km + and still going strong.
2) 2000 Renault Megane 1.6 - Loved the car but hated dealing with Renault
3) Forester (04 2.5 XSel)

Will always have fond memories of my Mazda - No power, rattled like nothing else, no aircon but It was my first car.

I obviously like the Forester best but to be fair it is in a different league!

Well, only 5 cars over the past 14 years...had a bunch of bikes before that

'88 sentra 2 door(bottom of the line 4 speed MT...ran that car hard and it held...got some great highschool memories w/ it)

'91 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 1.8L (handled great at 130MPH but other than that is was a piece of crap money pit)

'95 Nissan Maxima GXE (ran great w/ low maintance costs until I got a tank full of bad fuel giving me the bucking bronco affect...3-4 bottles later of dry gas and it runs perfect...hehe but that got me on the suby bandwagon)

'04 Forester XT (R.I.P)

'08 Forester Sport XT (very stealth...haha)
