Default Differences between XT Sports and Forester STi?

I've done the search, can't find any answers, but what I've gathered is that the differences are:

Brembo Brakes
6spd
Larger hood scoop
Different seats
Different wheels
HIDs
Black center console and HVAC knobs
Bigger turbo
Bigger TMIC
Lotsa STi Stickers

What other differences are there? I.e. what would it take to convert a forester XT Sports to a STi?

I think it also has a different instrument cluster where the rpm's are in the middle. Also I think I read somewhere that it has a bigger rear diff. Also sti sway bar and aluminum fsti lateral links.

The FSTI also has a number of different exterior bits. I believe there's a different front lip on the genuine FSTI, plus a different rear bumper, side sills, spats, rain visors, and waist spoiler.

Do all US FXTs come with sunroofs? The FSTI does not have a sunroof.

If you're planning to install FSTI seats do take note that you'll have to customize mounting points for the rear seat rails......the rear seats slide so they have rails but the XT doesn't have the mounting points/screwholes for the rail assembly.

in the engine bay the FSTI has a '2.5' badge.....does the USDM XT Sports come with that? ahhh yes, also a red intake manifold.

the door panels have the same black fabric as the seats. steering wheel has sti logo and red stitching on the leather as does the handbrake leather cover and gearknob.

the roof rails are silver in color.

if there's any other part you need to check on let me know........i see my buddy's MY07 FSTI pretty often.

here's a link to some awesome exterior/interior pics of a FSTI........(you might have to register/login)...........

The intake manifold is red because the fsti is a ej257 vs the xt which is a 255. I will however do whatever it take to make my foz as close to an sti or what I would call a STi limited since I have leather seats as possible.

Just about every piece of the FSTi is different from the USDM XT

i was waiting for someone to say that, im going to say that no matter how much money, time and STI badges you put on a xt is never going to be a FSTI, it can be close, but when has close gotten the ciger?

That maybe true.. But I enjoy chasing the cigar and making something unique out of my xt.

The biggest difference that you'll never achieve? RHD vs LHD

We will be like the 2.5RS people before the WRX dropped and make the STi FoZ here in America the way SOA should have done in the first place.

^ I know. But it should be noted that to add parts like seats, bumpers, suspension, etc will add up quickly and steeply.
