Probably a stupid question, but is there any chance I would consider these TOO bright? I am interested. I love LEDs and want to do it.

For this particular vehicle, I don't think the stage 3 bulbs would be *too* bright. However, if you're concerned, I'd recommend the stage 2 kit, which is designed to be just slightly brighter than your stock bulbs. Thanks!

I'd be more than happy to be your test vehicle. You can send me a stage 3 kit for the SG and I can test these, provide pics and feedback for you guys and everyone here. I def want a set ASAP, and would support a local vendor. I'd hate to buy elsewhere and have you guys roll out a SG kit soon after.

So this means you should have a kit available soon? Sweet!

What about a set for the reverse, stop and indicators? I'd love a pair of 7 watt crees for reverse lights when camping and I reckon nothing says "back off" better than super bright stop lights.

The sockets for those bulbs are not big enough for the brightness you're looking for. Have to wait for the technology!

We had some really heavy rain here today (290mm or just on 12") and during this downpour I happened to be following a Flatbed Tow Truck that LED tail lights and it was bloody well hard to see them at all until through the road spray except for when he touched the brakes.
It really surprised me as I thought the LED's would have out done the standard bulbs by a large factor, but not so, well at least in heavy rain and road spray they don't.

LED's will definitely not be going outside the cabin on any vehicle I own after the above incident. What I would dearly like is a set or one of those lights the F1's have for wet weather racing.

It all depends on the model of the LED... early LEDs weren't very bright at all. But today's LEDs can be much, much brighter than incandescent bulbs. Just ask anyone who has them ;) One size does not fit all. We have bright ones and super bright ones to fit your needs.

any chance we could get some pics emailed on the difference between stock and stage 2 for the interior lights? Work blocks just about all file sharing sites except flickr and I'm thinking about the stage 2 mod, stage 3 seems a little too expensive at this point.

I'm guessing stage 1 is about the same as stock on brightness?
