Bump for a new batch of no-drill front plate mounts... now in stock. Hand-brushed aluminum finish, includes all necessary hardware. $39.95 shipped within the US of A, and $48 shipped to Canada!

I don't own a Forester; I came here just to buy this for my 2012 STi and post about it afterwards.

It fits great:

The only bad thing, which is not the fault of the bracket at all, is that on the STi (and presumably WRX and Impreza of the same body style) the bumper itself is directly behind the holes in the cover and there's no way to access them without removing the bumper (thanks Fuji). This youtube tutorial:
takes you step by step through that process (if you have fog lamps you need to unplug them once you have the bumper cover loosened but before you try to move it more than a few inches away from the car); once that's done putting the bracket on was a 23-second job!

So, anyone with a WRX or STi, this is your heart's desire if you don't want to drill new holes in your bumper!

Hey Silke,

I received the license plate bracket in the mail yesterday.
You're right, it only took a week to get to me!
I washed my bumper and wiped it dry before the install.
Mounting your bracket only took me a couple minutes!
Everything fit great!!! Instructions were very straight forward!
I even installed my front license plate with a clear plastic cover over top of it and still, everything bolted on perfectly!
Feels nice to be driving 100% legally now!
Thanks again very much!!!

We're running a pre-order special again - should be about two weeks for the new batch of brackets to arrive from our supplier. Any pre-orders placed between now and August 1 will receive free shipping!

I meant to post this earlier, but I've had this product for several months now and it's very good. It makes my license plate bumper guard sit more flush than my previous front plate mounting solution.

Thanks!

^^Thanks for the pic, glad the bracket is working out well!

Just a quick update for those who have placed pre-orders in the past few weeks - the new blanks arrived yesterday. I will be working on finishing them over the weekend and ship them out as early as Monday. Thanks so much for your patience!

Would it be possible to get fairly close pic from straight on, and from the side please?(plate mounted, obviously blacked out plate is fine) I'm curious to see how the plate looks on it and how far the bottom of the license plate sticks out on a SH. Also anyone have one with subs, does it rattle? Thanks for your help

Wish I could help you, but I don't have an SH... perhaps one of our previous customers could snap a few quick pics.

Thanks Silke!

Worked out very nicely, just installed it tonight. Great product. I am still wondering why Subaru doesn't offer this.... You should team up with them.
