Hey guys,
When downshifting on occasion (happened 4 times now) no matter how much i push the throttle in while matching the lower gear up, there is no throttle response.
My16 diesel foz. Any ideas? Anybody have this issue with other vehicles?
was it during a regen? Response can be a bit laggy at those times as boost/EGR/throttlevalve/ exhaust throttle are all being balanced against each other.
Its is possible but i dont recall correctly. Usually have no dramas during a regen though. I have it booked in for a problem with the trailer socket and reverse sensors not co-operating. Will get them to check it
Unless I am mistaken or Subaru did something different, there is no "throttle valve" on a diesel. The go pedal controls how much fuel is being fed into engine....
Sorry for not updating, it was the throttle cut out due to brake pedal. Computer cuts throttle when brake is applied after certain time. So when downshifting it happens sometimes and making you stuff your rev matches.
