I don't even care about the performance version, this is just an overall good alternative to the Forester for me. The interior and build quality probably cannot compare. I am not a fan of the outback so that's out.

Yeah, that wagon is very nice looking. There are a lot of cool wagons we can't buy in America because American buyers reject wagons... and that sucks.

I suppose if you had plenty of money and a friend in Japan, you could modify an Outback by lowering the suspension and replacing the US-spec plastic cladding with the more attractive pieces on that car.
