Turbo or non turbo?
These cars, especially the turbos like a full service history including transmission fluid changes etc - not just an engine oil change every 4000 miles or whatever the interval is these days.
At that mileage you want to be checking:
Head gasket failure - Mayonnaise under the oil cap or the expansion tank turning into a bubble bath or smoke out the exhaust.
Cracks in the radiator plastic tanks - they generally crack at about 100K miles
Rust underneath - especially if it's seen a lot of salted roads or lived near a coastal area
Window motors work ok ? Always seems to be the driver's side the goes bad for some reason - regardless if the driver is on the left or right of the car
Check the sunroof works properly too if equipped
Self Levelling shocks aren't leaking or showing signs of sagging
No accident damage
Does the car come onto boost and pulls properly right up the rev range?
Does the car pull one side or the other when braking hard (Brake calipers can seize if they've seen a lot of salt)
Any knocking noises when driving over bumps (Droplinks usually but not always)
A compression test wouldn't be a bad idea to help ensure the piston rings are ok.
