Default Advise needed on buyin new forester

Was looking for forester...either premium or premium XT or limited.

Does engine of Limited not real good as premium 2.5XT? How can you compare both, as I heard it makes vehicle bit sluggish having less torque engine? How is the pickup for engine on Limited or premium or which does nNOT have turbo??

I am not really looking for turbo, but if regular one does not have much power then turbo engine best, my need is just riding with family with no trailer or cargo. I use it only for traveling with 5 ppl. I wont go off-road, no trecking or no hiking anything, but highways and local roads.

If the engine with OUT turbo is good, I can go for premium plus some optional packages like weather plus, leather seats etc.

I am looking for over all features mix of engine, look and feel, longevity, less maintenance, safety (AWD)..this is the reason I am always biased towards subaru. I do not really care that much about interior look, but If i can imrove comfortable with little more bucks, such as leather seats etc that would be good.

The XT has a lot more power than the naturally aspirated X Forester, but the X model is not unusably slow. The X models have pretty good pickup for what they are and still have enough power to get out of their own way. The non-turbo X model is easier to maintain in general and doesn't require premium gasoline, plus only the non-turbo Foresters are offered in manual transmission nowadays. The XT is widely considered as more fun to drive.

The NA puts out good power. Also if you get the NA then you can go with manual tranny which gives you another gear.

NA is Naturally Aspirated (non-turbo)

You will jut need to drive the NA..also remember the NA (new FB Engine) does not require a timing belt and should have zero problems with head gaskets. The turbo has a belt and is probably more prone to Head gasket leaks.
