2015 standard features?

Is there a complete text list of all the standard features for 2015 for each trim level somewhere? The Subaru website seems to not indicate which models have tinted windows. And I can't find mention of rear seat center armrest. (And they don't list power windows and door locks, perhaps because it's assumed these features are so ubiquitous that they don't need to mention them.) Also, does the 6-way manual seat in the base model have adjustable lumbar support, or only the higher trim level (10-way power seat)?

EDIT: Also does anyone know if the EyeSight system has changed for 2015 (other than in price). I mean does it have more features than the 2014 EyeSight system?
I'm referring to this article which mentions some other functions
Quote:
blind spot detection, lane change assist and rear cross traffic alert systems
I don't know if any of that is on the Forester.

All I know is for the 2015 XT premium it gets standard all weather package now...
I REALLY wanted this when I got '14 xt premium but did not want to shell out for the XT touring... now the '15 guys are getting it.

it kills me deep inside.

Not sure if you checked out the Subaru website yet. But under Forester > Model Overview, it lists what each trim comes with as Standard and have optional add-on.

Joe Spitz has updated his site with 2015 specs. Pictures are still MY14 so the page is still a work in progress, but the specs, features, prices, major option packages etc. are all there already: 2015 Subaru Forester research webpage

None of the updated Eyesight features are coming to the 2015 Forester.

In addition to the above suggestions, this thread has a lot of info on the 2015 Forester. 2015 Forester Pricing and Photos Released

WOW! Thanks so much! That's an amazing webpage!

There's a lot of info there to read, so hopefully my questions will be answered.

What are the issues with the moonroofs? How much is headroom reduced? How much lower is the headliner under the moonroof mechanism/tracks/rails vs plain roof?

I think maybe they meant 'pains' them as in they missed out on getting a standard moonroof in their car. ('Premium' models get them as standard.)

As an aside, never heard of any issues re headroom with cars with moonroofs. I have one and there is loads of headroom, even for v tall people.

Front/Rear:

Without Sunroof: 41.4 inches/39.8 inches

With Sunroof: 40.0 inches/37.5 inches

I am 6'4" with a tall upper body. I have no headroom issues at all with the moonroof. There is plenty of headroom with the moonroof unless you are extremely tall (6'8"+)

Thanks! Very helpful info!

I'm doing this research for my dad who is about 6.2". I'm about 6'0" and I think most of the difference between us is that my dad's legs are longer. So that would mean our upper bodies are about the same. So it seems the moonroof probably wouldn't be a problem for my dad.

After I posted, I found those headroom measurements on the Spitz page. I'm not sure where they are measuring from, though.

May I ask, do you adjust the seat height up or down at all?

I have calculated from the specs on the Spitz page that the power seat has a height adjustment range of 1.75". So worst case scenario, with the seat raised all the way up, the headroom would be reduced by 1.75"? Or to put it another way, headroom could be increased 1.75" by fully lowering the seat?

I don't think my seat is all the way down. It is also not all the way back.

Even if it is all the way down, I have never touched my head on the roof. Even when I hit big bumps and bounce in my seat, my head does not hit the roof. In my parents 2003 Ford Explorer with a moonroof my head is always touching.

Thanks again. I think my dad will have enough headroom no matter which he chooses. I checked and his current car has less headroom.

EDIT:
Couple more questions...

1. Are the options listed on the Spitz page under "2015 SUBARU FORESTER INDIVIDUAL OPTIONS AND OPTION PACKAGES" factory-installed options, or are these dealer/port installed-options?

2. I'm making a list of standard features on the Premium that are NOT included on the Base 2.5i model.

• Same audio system as base model but with 2 additional speakers (6 total), and HD Radio
• 17” x 7” aluminum-alloy wheels (optional on Base model)
• Raised roof rails (included on Base model with the Alloy wheels)
• Panoramic power glass sunroof (moonroof) with sun shade
• 10-way power adjustable driver's seat with power adjustable lumbar support
• Reclining rear seats
• Driver's auto-up/down window (auto-down only on Base model)
• Dark tinted glass
• Center armrest that is adjustable (slides forward)

Is that everything?

Those options might be a mix of factory and port installed, but I think most are port installed.

It looks like you have everything on the list between the Base and Premium.
