thank you very much. Is the water pump for the manual trans the same cost? Curious as to why they'd be different if they are.

what ever happened to spark plugs being $1 or 2?

Agreed, the plugs are 30k platinum plugs so they are quite a bit more than standard copper plugs which would be around that price. I checked on the water pumps, it's the same pump for MT and AT vehicles but they are often different and sometimes different prices. The pricing is sometimes different because of the features of the pump. A pump with additional ports is generally more expensive.

Yes, even though the date is long long ago I update pricing regularly! I do need to update for newer models since I am starting to get requests for those.

Thanks,
Jackie

Not a forester question.... but I don't really want to ask on Nazioc... for obvious reasons.

My sisters have a 1997 2.2L SOHC 4-spd auto Impreza (produced October 1996) that I suspect has leaky head gaskets (burning/leaking about half a quart of coolant every 7 months, so not bad but i can see it all over the bottom of the engine) and is at 101,xxx miles. So a timing belt change is right around the corner, and I was wondering if I could get everything I need for the timing belt (so the #3 kit but for an Impreza) and also what I would need if i am replacing head gaskets?

Thanks!

I'll be ordering some timing belt stuff, as well as a LOT of other stuff come Monday Jackie. I'd have a pen and paper handy as it's a long list.

Blue Fox - Feel free to send me an e-mail if you would like!

Jackie.Whetzler@AnnapolisSubaru.com

Loscaldazar - Absolutely! The discount applies to any Subaru you have! We also have a Volvo and Hyundai store and have access to discounted parts from other dealerships as well as places like Advance Auto and Napa so we may be able to sell you items cheaper than they would even from aftermarket suppliers. I can send you a PM or e-mail with a parts list of parts you would need to do the job.

Thanks,
Jackie

hello,
Doing the timing belt for my 01 forester and need to get a stage 3 timing belt kit.
I am guessing it includes the gaskets that i would need for the thermostat and all right?
And I need the A/C tension pulley.
Would I just shoot you and email or PM to order? Kinda need it ASAP.
thanks,
Erich

I just want to say that Jackie is awesome.

I don't why anyone would get oem parts through anyone else.

Called up yesterday, picked up the phone right away, already had my parts list, no problem adding some oil crush washers. A real pleasure compared to other vendors.
And she is always a pleasure to deal with.

Thanks again Jackie, you rock!!!

Yes I run through the threads once a month and double check the prices because on the first of every month we get a price update from Subaru.

Thanks,
Jackie
