I just checked it and got it to throw the code on the way home. 18.8psi.
Still haven't changed tune yet.

I thought I'd take a stroll to my forza nemesis' member journal. Holy cow you've done a lot in the 7 months you've had it. Very similar to what I have going on with my SG.

Nice to have you visit. I've got all the important small stuff done now so next comes a 7cm or 8cm 18gxt from blouch, injectors, tmic and tune. The modification rate is however inversely proportionate to the price of parts, and therefore will be slowing down.

From ptp directly. They are based out of austin, tx and have a website.

Talked to BNR about their turbos. I would ultimately like the blouch but am now probably going to get a bnr 18g. That way I won't have to modify my setup too much and its about 500-600 less for the turbo. Going this route would only be about $1480 for injectors, turbo, and fuel pump and ill probably get a knockoff tmic for a couple hundred bucks so I don't blow the end tanks. Thats very reasonable in my mind.

Bnr requires a core charge for the turbo but said they would work with me and I could send them the core after I have their turbo installed. This is partly how they are much cheaper but suits me fine and id be selling the turbo anyway.

They need the core from a vf40 that is what there turbos are based on i also have spoken with the on multiple occasions. Your best bet is to cruise nasioc for a blown vf40 for 50 bucks and send that in.

Took off the sti exhaust last night and went back to full stealth, silence mode. Now i need to just get the suspension upgraded to put a night rider turbo boost option on my car....or I could just slam my head back and be dramatic and pretend I jumped something.

I really like the sound of the exhaust but, really really like hearing my stereo better at lower volume and having complete silence with nothing there but me and the wind(on most road surfaces).

The exhaust is up for sale in the classifieds section.

This evening I put my radar detector above my mirror and hid all the wiring so it comes on with the ignition and keeps the cords out of my way.

Thanks man. Im addicted to tinkering with my cars so always try to get more out of my cars and add to the comfort factor. I'm from augusta ga originally and have family up in roswell across the highway from you. Had my 2005.5 vw tdi jetta tuned by a company in marrietta.
