Here's some extra photos and videos that I got around to taking today. I think you'll enjoy them.

My Dad (since I can't trust him to run the camera at least he makes the shot look good)

From the pics in the above posts you can now see the view from my dad's helmet cam as he goes by the foz. These shots are from my dad's mx course. The first two videos are with my dad wearing the cam but we switch bikes after the first video. The second two are of me wearing the cam with me on the 450 and the last one is me by myself.

Enjoy:

I enjoy riding with him and hanging out. My kids came up with my mother and my wife later on in the day and we rode 4 wheelers with them. I'd much rather be out there in the woods than at the house.

So the videos are pretty much all the way uploaded. They aren't terribly related to subaru things but I'll be on my way back home tomorrow where there should be:

-Some wheels coming
-The secondary air pump delete plates
-A nameless performance muffler delete exhaust system.
-A yet to be mentioned secret item that I hope has already came in.

Things continue to progress.......

E85 begins..... When this last quarter tank goes the new tune begins.

We love the two stroke a lot but the torque of the 450 paired with a lot of aftermarket extras and a recluse clutch make it the winner.

The 2 stroke has a fatty fmf mixing chamber and shorty muffler with an after market suspension setup but thats it.

Getting my konigs on right now. I took out the ugly supplied chrome centercap and will be putting something better back in there. If my stock subaru ones fit ill put em in.

I did a cobb ap quarter mile run to compare the new rims before switching to e85. The 0-60 time was 4.5 seconds and quarter said 13.2 @ 106. The 60 time is pretty accurate but the 1/4 time (since at 106mph its farther off than at 60)with speedo error shows me slower than it should be.

You cant really judge 1/4 mile and 0-60 on that thing imo its way to unreliable. I would think since its nice all year round were you live its time to hit the track for some real numbers!!!

Im not looking for the actual number, just a known quantity to compare the new wheels to. I understand that its not actually right. I should still see the difference in wheel weight though.

Alright, the news you've been waiting for, well several different newses actually, and one is bad.

Well the bad one. My exhaust came in. Well, at first it doesn't sound bad but the fact is it's wayyyyyyyy toooooo loud. But not in the car. It's actually super quiet in the car cause nothing under it is resonating. But out the back end it's embarrassingly loud. So much so, I can't even ride around in it. I tried once. Came back home and took it off immediately. I've got a video. Its too big a file to have me bothering to try and upload it though. Take my word for it, it sounds like crap. The Nameless performance axleback muffler delete was clearly made for someone with a completely stock Exhaust system and not fully straight piped like mine. The good news about that is I'll sell it and get a new intake for roughly the same price. That'll actually help out.

Next news.

New wheels!!! I used my OEM centercaps in place of the ones that conig sent cause they were like chrome cones sticking out the center. Looked terrible. I can already notice a driving difference. They sit out a little further giving me better handling and they steer noticably lighter and let the engine rev quicker. They also seem to want to keep rolling longer after coming off the throttle.

THE WEIGHT OF THE OLD WHEELS WAS 23.xx pounds!!!!! So my weight savings is 9.xx pounds each saving me 37ish pounds.

The guy at the wheel place putting them on:

They sit more flush as well with the 40mm offset. Have a look below.

Next news. Ray is sending me the E85 base map tonight (presumeably after he finishes Nates 20g tune. I'll go ahead and fill it up tonight. It's going to be Crazy!!

End of news, back to your regularly scheduled program.
