Haha I am watching that right now and I thinks it's funny you have a can of plastic dip packed in there in case of a emergency

Wondering if
anyone noticed that. So on my third fill up with fuel I went to a chevron station. I again had issues with chevron fuel! So in texas and alabama both chevrons had fuel my foz didn't like. It pulled the dam down and was predetonating like it had 87 in there. I pulled another 3° out with the access port bad gas adjustment. Ran a bit better like that. I hate running crappy gas in there. Feels like im destroying something. Im never touching a chevron again. Hopefully the tank I just got will clear it up. I still went back to an older lower timing tune just in case.

Good to know. My car hates it.
After filling up from a different station it immediately went back to normal.

Headers are installed. Suby rumble has been deleted:(. The car runs and accelerates very smoothly. At first it seems slower cause yhe smooth power transition coupled with my quiet car makes it seem that way. I believe it pulls harder and longer though. Ill be tuning for it soon and seeing where that gets me.

I think ELH make for an even better sleeper FXT, with the quiet exhaust. Kids hear the loud "Subie Sound" & expect WRX or STI. Just anther 4cyl sound = Soccer Mom; FTW

Its a tad louder exhaust note overall but just from the engine area. Its raspier sounding at full throttle than before as well. What ive noticed before tuning anything is that it has a bit better pickup off idle and a very smooth powerband.

About the only other sleeper thing you could do would be a FMIC with a basic Fozzy hood. I wouldn't even go that far though.

Im not going out of my way for a sleeper look. It just happens to be a convienent side effect of what I want out of the car.

I totally understand, didn't mean to imply otherwise. I love sleepers, and the FXT has it "built in".
With the ELH on now, how do you think removing the OE resonator affects the sound? I know it may be hard to guess, just curious if the resonator makes a noticable difference. |

Theres still no noticable sound in the car. Not sure what it would be with one. I might get a set of nameless axlebacks muffler deletes(aka: straight pipes) when I start tuning for e85.
