Its always fun to show people things about guns. I took a neighbor back in savannah ga shooting one time when my dad came down for a visit. My dad has a compensated glock 19C. He had it on him so we brought it along. I also brought a kel-tec .380 and a taurus pt111millenium pro. I asked my neighbor which one he thought would be the most tame and which would have the most recoil. He figured the glock to be the hardest to handle and the keltec the easiest.
He was shocked to see the glock hardly flinch and the keltec try to jump out of his hands. Lol

My thread has become truly multi purposed :D
I like that 1911 sig. At work we use the 226 which im not as much a fan of but its alright. Im mostly just unhappy with that prestageable double action trigger. Just wierd. Double/single ftw. You guys have some sweet guns. Can't wait to get you a few pics of some of our familys wild collection. More of the eccentric guns that few people tend to have. I think you'll like em.;)

Not for us. No choice. I preferred the M9 beretta. (double single preference again)

if you prefer the Beretta you would love the Jericho. the grip is similar, the Jericho can use the same mags, but not the other way around and it's more reliable and accurate with less recoil. basically it's better all around. you can fire it underwater, full of sand, or frozen in ice.

I can't wait to see what your wheels look like (on the Foz).
FWIW, I hate DAO semiauto pistols as well. My 229 is DA/SA. My first pistol was a Colt Delta Elite, and I carried a 1911 in the Army, so I like SA also. My Witness Elite Match is SA, and a very close cousin to the Jerico meifert has. They're patterned of the classic CZ-75. Mine's all steel, and very very accurate. I shoot it better than the 229. I've only had the TacOps out a few times, but I can shoot it about as well as the Witness. Which is to say, the bullets basically hit where you "think" them. Back to cars: The whole plastidip thing seems cool. I was wondering how well it holds up. I keep hearing how easy it is to peel off overspray, etc. So, I was afraid it may not wear well. |
