I think your next mod should be to ditch that stock air box for a real intake. At your power level you will notice a big difference in flow and spool, i know i did.

Might do that before e85 since ill be pushing more air. How much maf calibration programming was required after changing it? Such a pain to do one change a day.

I might end up getting some lightweight rims for christmas. Not sure yet.

Not really sure about the maf calibration i let ray mess with that stuff. I am thinking about maybe going with the same headers as you how do you like them.

I don't have any quantifying numbers but its definitely smoother and flows better without a doubt. At first I didn't like the way it sounded but after a day it's grown on me. How much does ray sell those intakes for?

On a side note, I didn't realize ray was in vegas. He's tuning mine from there. Ive got to send him a log tonight after my wife gets home. Just raising timing at the moment.

Yeah i like to do it on a road tune with him in the car and just dial it all in with his wideband. He is leaving tomorow for vegas and wont have time till he gets back.

I'm wondering how some Konig Daylites, in gold, would look on a DGM FXT...

I like em. They only come in a 40mm offset which would push them out 8mm. I think that would still fit. Anyone know if going from 48 to 40mm will upset anything? My tires shouldn't rub the rear of the fender well should they?

Awesome. Thats what I thought but wheel characteristics tend to fool me a bit.

I wouldn't allow Konig to pay me to put their wheels on any vehicle I own. I have seen too many break at track days.

Thry're that bad?
I wouldn't be tracking them frequently if ever. Except the drag strip.

I've heard good and bad about all of the "knock off" companies...Konig, Rota, whoever. Most of the bad is on Konig's heavy "pimp" wheels, rather than their knockoffs. It seems the Feathers & Daylites are popular with Miata & Mini guys that use them for track days, too.

I've seen posts of Rays, Enkei, and others failing on the track. All companies have their good & bad.

FWIW, it seems the Daylites are made in Japan.

Looks like Modiied magazine has the EXACT same taste as I do. This is the same wheel/tire style combination I'm eyeballing, Ryan.
