Thanks Mike. We test drove the Impreza but not to impressed. Drove a 09xt premium but they wouldn't budge on price and had 52k miles. It was fun tho. Then we went to where I bought mine and it only took about an hour or so. Now I'm mapping out my mods. Tint, mudflaps, swifts, and a clear bra to protect the paint. Let the fun begin.

Been busy shopping around for parts for the SH. I ordered rokblokz mudflaps and should get them tomorrow. I also snagged a full set of weathertechs for under $100! Called the guy who did my tint on my foz and said he'd gladly hook me up with my new one. $160 for the whole car. I'll also add the sunroof and visor. Maybe another 30-40 but he'll hook it up! I just need to steal her car and drop it off! Lol
Stay tuned for pics! |

I have been in the hospital for the past week, long story short I was so antsy and cooped up I couldnt take it. I was discharged yesterday evening and I was itching to mod since all I did was cruise the web, tv and sleep for the past week.
I installed the rokblokz mudflaps as soon as I got home. Literally. Lol Then this morning I stopped by to get the SH tinted first thing this morning. 2 guys beat me there so I was #3. I was there 9am-1! The guy is awesome and worth the wait. 50% front windows, 35% on top of factory tint so it's about 10%? and 5% on sunroof. All this, 7 windows and the sunroof for $170! Then I had them wash and wax it. Wife likes it and is happy, so am I. ;) -Looking into a red vinyl kit for the tails and cut out the reverse lights. I painted the tails on my civic (seen on page 1) but am hesitant on this for some reason. We shall see. |

Ordered a set of SH window visors for cheap. I'll be slapping those on as soon as I get them. This may be it for a while since we have some stuff goin on, plus she said she's not a fan of other mods i showed her. I guess it saves me some money.

Random pic I snapped of my wife's, brother inlaws and my own foz.
![]() So I want to go lower, I'll go with a whole new set up. I'll ride these swifts for the winters but want to go to wagon setup for warmer months. I'll consider similar setup if one pops up but I have time to keep my eyes peeled. Last edited by Subiciv; 11-05-2012 at 12:11 PM. |

I stole the 09 this morning and took it to work. Since it's 70* in December I would tinker around. My wife calls me and tells me my forester is surging and jumping. I at first think it's the trans but she says jumping and idling high. Of course the CEL is on. This should be fun...

So a week ago my wife brings the car home with a CEL and ive yet to figure it out. Then a headlight went out. Meh, I still have the other. Well, tonight that other headlight went out leaving me fogs only and had to make an emergency stop at autozone. The associate should work at Micky D's since he didnt seem to know anything. After everything, I can now see more than 5' down the road!

I get in the car this morning and am met by a nice sized crack across the windshield from a rock chip. I run to the car wash real quick before my errands. Car has a hesitant start but its cold. Go to car wash and they ask me to move my car up. I figure since I have a shift boot on my 4eat they are confused and don't want to mess it up(even though they know my car and I told them how when I pulled in). Turn the key and battery is dead. They jump it for me and I run to autozone for a new one. Duralast gold dropped in a cranks right up and CEL off. Hopefully it stays off since I miss my cruise control.

I left some bait in the back of my foz from two weeks ago. Since the SH is our primary for the most part I didn't realize it has been firmenting a lovely smell. Lol not too bad and nothing I haven't experienced before.
It's snowing so had fun driving to the gym on my all seasons. I'd give them a 5/10 in snow. Maybe I'm harsh comparing them to the xice2's on the SH. Snapped a quickie.

Since I work swing shifts and had a day off I contemplated between drivin my wife to work or sleeping in. I got up rather easily and felt really good despite being 4am. We get about 1.5mi from home and are sitting at a stop light when I see a set of headlights coming at us at a high rate of speed. It swerves last minute to avoid us within inches but nails an older corolla, causing a 5 vehicle pile up. No serious injuries. I stopped and provided whatever I could. Offending vehicle was a newer vw beetle. Any larger of a vehicle would have had resulted in a worse situation. I thought it was the end of my forester but it and my wife and I are ok. Only totaled cars were the vw and corolla. Makes me even more thankful from the man upstairs and to never stop appreciating life.

Passed my emissions test today. The guy looked at the foz oddly but I guess I'll take it as a compliment. Lol
