Thanks, guys!

My wife was happy w/ the purchase. I almost got an '08 LGT but practicality won out. I am happy. Not sure how much I can get away w/ for mods before my wife kills me

Get the Swifts... they're wife-approved.

Yeah, basically I made an agreement w/ my wife (very smart to do) BEFORE buying the car. Basically said I was going to get lowering springs (which means all the supporting mods RSB w/ mounts, rear end links, moboost support, etc...) and brakes right after buying the car.

I am shooting for getting Swift springs but want to make sure they work fine on the '08s before ordering them.

I may just buy that RB front and rear kit from turbometrics and be done w/ the brakes for now...not sure.

Looks awesome, Sir W, congrats!

I love that color, wish they would've had it in 05.

Thanks, guys!

Well, all the pieces just kind of fell into place. It was really difficult to even track one down in VA but this weekend I kind of got directed to the Richmond dealership and that just happen to be on the way up from Norfolk. Everything was ready to go, my father drove me there this afternoon to sign the papers. The finance guy at the dealership pulled my license plate and all my necessary stickers out of his desk so no waiting on the final stuff. Just in and out. Took less than 30 mins from start to finish. There was this lady that was supposed to go out w/ me to the car to put on my license plates for me and go through all the stuff for the car before I left. I let her put the plates on and then I told her that I know everything about the car and to have a nice day. She was pleasantly surprised. I then took my luggage and stuff from my father's trunk, through it in my trunk and then I was off back to NoVA. Everyone was staring at my car. My wife thinks the blue is a little flashy for her but she still likes it. I just bring up it was either that or white (my wife hates white cars w/ a passion for no good reason ).

If anything, my wife is completely estatic that I'm getting WRB, the odds of me finding another used 05 FXT 5sp in White that is mint / low k's is next to nill. When we shopped for the original FXT she saw the WRB 07's on the lot and fell in love.

Good to see you're behind the wheel again !! I can't wait until I am as well.

I would have loved to have an alpine white but they aren't even going to be produced until this September/October or at least available out on the east coast until September/October...but my wife would probably never speak to me if I got a white one. My buddy Jared and his wife Shannon have one preordered. They are hanging around this forum somewhere and Jared is the one that helped me get my old suspension on. Great bunch of people they are.

That is an awesome ride Sir Will. Not that life owes us anything, but I hope that ride makes your life a little more pleasant.
